2020 Innovation Awards Winners

TechVision Challenge Best in Show

ESX is proud to announce the winners of the 2020 TechVision Challenge, a “Shark Tank” style business pitch to identify the “Best in Show” product or service. Traditionally held in conjunction with the in-person ESX conference, this year’s TVC proceeded as a virtual contest. Chosen for their innovative design, utility and market potential from the top ten rated category winners of the ESX Innovation Awards program, these companies accepted the challenge to step into the “Shark Tank” to present their case on why they should be selected “Best in Show.” On August 17-18, an esteemed judging panel of industry professionals collectively assessed the category winners in a virtual “Shark Tank.” In this interactive session, the judges grilled the presenters on value, ingenuity, purpose and business potential of their selected products and services. People's Choice Award Winner

New this year was the addition of the People’s Choice Award, where the ESX community was given the opportunity to select their favorite product or service from amongst the Innovation Award category winners. From late July through mid-August, members of the ESX community were invited to review the category winners and cast their vote for their favorite product via a secure, online ballot.

WINNER: Alarm.com, for their On-Site Wrap Up product. In addition to the People’s Choice Award, this product was also recognized as the Innovation Award winner for the Installation/Service Tools in the Productivity Mobile Applications category. Learn more
