The Difference a Quality Engagement Makes

Last year, two attendees shared the story of their ESX friendship formed at the 2017 show that continued long past their initial encounter.

Dusty Daugherty and Brad Slaughter, both installation managers, met in 2017 and had remained in contact from then to the 2018 show. Between in-person meetups at ESX, they hosted weekly calls for best practice sharing.

“We hit it off because we shared similar positions, and were able to share some of that insight with each other that was helpful to our companies,” said Daugherty. “We’ve been doing weekly phone calls since then, where we go over what’s been happening.”

“It’s been really valuable to pick his brain, share my experiences, and work through some difficult situations together,” said Slaughter. “One of the great things about ESX, is not only being able to see the latest and greatest products, but after meeting Dusty last year, one of the big focuses for me was to meet more industry professionals and have similar relationships like I have with Dusty.”
