Rebecca Bayne is the President of Bayne Consulting & Search, Inc., a firm with a portfolio of clients and candidates grown over the past 16 years as a result of focused search, recruitment, and consulting services to systems integrators and alarm companies in the industry.
Since 1999, Rebecca has been known for a thorough, targeted, and conscientious approach to the business and art of matching unique talent with exceptional organizations. To form BCSI in 2013, she acquired the Integration Recruitment Division she’d built and managed for twelve years within a leading industry firm.
In addition to search and recruitment, Rebecca consults with her clients who seek to improve processes and the industry’s perception of their companies in order to build a competitive edge in securing the very best industry talent. Prior to the decision in 2001 to focus her business entirely in the Physical Security industry, her area of specialization was network infrastructure professionals in I.T. Her clients are leading companies on the Top 100 Security Integrators and the SDM 100 lists. Ms. Bayne is considered a knowledgeable, strategically-minded, and trusted advisor to the leaders within her client companies and to the select candidates with whom she works.
Don Childers began working in the electronic security industry in May of 1992. Childers is the current Past President of the North Carolina Electronic Security Association and holds a North Carolina Limited Electrical Contractors license. He is NICET Level IV certified in fire alarms, and a member of the National Fire Protection Association. Childers was honored to receive the 2010 ESA/NTS Instructor of the Year award and served as the Education Chair of the ESX Program Advisory Committee for (5) years. Childers also served as the Chair of ESA’s Installation and Service Professionals (ISP) group, is on the ESA Education Committee as well as on the ESA Standards Fire/Life Safety Committee, and a past member of the IQ Board of Directors. He has also presented educational seminars at many of the industry’s top level tradeshows including ESX, ISC West, ISC East, TechSec Solutions, the CSAA annual meeting and Fall Ops, has been published in many security industry trade magazines and has published several technical pieces.
Dee Ann Harn
Dee Ann Harn is the second generation CEO/Owner of RFI Enterprises, Inc. Dee Ann's family started RFI in 1979, in a small town outside of San Jose, CA; as a way to put the kids through college. The business has grown to include five locations on the west coast with the corporate office in San Jose, CA. RFI has been named SDM's 2012 Systems Integrator of the Year, Honoree and has been consistently recognized as one of the top 25 Family Owned Businesses by Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.
Dee Ann is actively involved in ESA, EMP professional group, and ASIS. She currently is serving as Vice President on ESA’s Executive Committee and as an advisor to the Executive Management Professional group. Her commitment and work ethic learned from growing up in a family owned business has provided a strong understanding of the history of the security industry over the past three decades. Her leadership of RFI has reinforced her responsibility to develop not just her own company; but to utilize her position on the Executive Committee to look for opportunities to bridge our industry to the inevitable changes seen with new technology and incoming workforce development.
Cathy Rempel is the president and owner of American Security Integrators. She is the immediate past president of the CAA, former president of the San Diego Security Association and has been actively involved in the security industry as a keynote speaker, trainer and executive coach. She has spoken and worked with several groups, associations and companies in the security industry including the California Alarm Association, Electronic Security Association, San Diego Security Association, Electronic Security and Technology Association, International Association of Chiefs of Police, American Society for Industrial Security, Security Industry Alarm Coalition, International Security Conference and the Electronic Security Expo. She has served as a consultant and trusted adviser to many security integrators across the nation enabling her to have unique insight into industry best practices and trends.
A native born Canadian, and now proudly an American citizen residing in San Diego, Cathy’s work life has encompassed various executive positions including Xerox Corporate Vice President North America Strategic Business Solutions. Her passion throughout her career of over thirty years has always been in supporting organizations and companies achieve their goals. Cathy believes that transparent and active leadership is what should drive every organization.
