Spouses Outing

Pittsburgh's world-renown museums and gardens, as well as unique shopping boutiques, make it the perfect place to bring your spouse. Throughout this customized outing, spouses will enjoy a trolley ride as they take in Pittsburgh's scenic views from panoramic windows. After lunch at one of Pittsburgh's premier restaurants, spouses can shop at area boutiques. A detailed schedule follows:

9:00 AM
Private continental breakfast for tour participants at the Westin Convention Center Hotel

10:15AM
A trolley with gorgeous interior woodworking and polished brass rails will arrive at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

  

10:15AM-11:15AM
The trolley will take a tour through Downtown Pittsburgh and into Mount Washington for sightseeing. Pittsburgh's Mount Washington is known for its views overlooking the city's skyline. The view was rated the second most beautiful vista in America by USA Weekend.

11:30AM-1:00PM
Spouses will relax and dine at the Georgetown Inn, one of the upscale restaurants that sits on the crest of Mount Washington.

1:15PM-2:30PM
Then, it's shopping time! Spouses will get a chance to shop on Pittsburgh's high-end Walnut Street in Shadyside.

2:45PM
Spouses will arrive back at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
