The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Neighboring the new Music City Center, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum illustrates the history of country music.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to experience the rhinestone costumes, seasoned instruments, and tear-stained lyric sheets on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
A treasure trove of historic country video clips and recorded music, dynamic exhibits, state-of-the-art design and menu of consistent live performances make this experience a must while in the Music City.
Exhibits at the Hall of Fame and Museum open during ESX include “Sing Me Back Home: The Journey Begins – Folk Roots to the 1960s”,” Dreaming My Dreams: The Journey Continues – 1960s to the Present”, “Historic RCA Studio B”, “The Bakersfield Sound: Buck Owens Merle Haggard”, “California Country”, and “Carrie Underwood: The Blown Away Tour.”
This nationally-acclaimed award honors the memory of NBFAA co-founder and past president Morris F. Weinstock and is considered the most prestigious honor in the electronic security and life safety industry. First presented in 1970, the award was initiated by the family of Morris F. Weinstock to honor his lifetime work and commitment to the alarm industry. The winner is chosen by past recipients of the award.
2012 Morris F. Weinstock Person of the Year: David Koenig, Partner, Capital Fire & Security
David M. Koenig has been involved in the security industry since selecting it as his career in 1981. He has held a number of management positions in firms large and small that have provided a variety of security services including electronic card access systems, burglar alarm systems, fire alarm systems, uniformed security officers and patrol services, UL central monitoring station services and locksmithing. His experience includes sales, system installation, project management, design, budgeting, consulting and business management.
