Third Annual Electronic Security Expo Continues to Grow
2010 ESX Show Floor Reaches 150 Exhibitors, Projecting a 20% Growth
April 26, 2010 – The Electronic Security Expo (ESX) has officially announced its acquisition of 150 exhibitors and sponsors for its 2010 event. This summer (June 16-17) in Pittsburgh, PA, the three-year-old expo will present a show floor 20% larger than its Baltimore floor—making this the largest ESX exhibit floor ever.
This comes at a time when the recession of 2008 has forced some shrinking shows to dilute their focus, in an effort to appeal to more attendees. So, why hasn’t this show floor been affected? ESX, owned and sponsored by the Electronic Security Association (ESA) and the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA), serves the needs of its association members by delivering a concentrated program for security integrators and monitoring companies.
Attendees consistently report that the exhibit floor, education program and special networking/social events are comprised specifically for their needs."Many shows are shrinking and ESX continues to grow," says Marshall Marinace, president of Marshall Alarm Systems and Chair of the ESX Sales Working Group. "It's very exciting, but I can't say that I'm extremely surprised. The quality of its educational tracks and networking opportunities, along with its focus on security integration and monitoring companies has created an unmatched buzz in the industry. ESX is really raising the bar."
The 2010 ESX show floor highlights:
- Bigger and better video surveillance and access control categories
- Over 50 new companies already exhibiting
- A PBFAA (Pennsylvania Burglar and Fire Alarm Association) and OELSSA (Ohio Electronic Life Safety and Security Association) pavilion on the show floor for local manufacturer’s reps and distributors
- A Consulting and Business Services pavilion that will highlight organizations offering business services for security integration and monitoring companies
With the economy recovering and consumer confidence climbing, demand is increasing for all kinds of products and services, especially in the security industry. ESX, a focused and growing event, promises to prepare security integrators and monitoring companies for a newly surging market. To view the complete list of companies exhibiting at ESX, go to www.ESXweb.com/elist.
