Leading integration and monitoring companies respond to focus and value of event
April 21, 2009 – Advance attendee registrations for the second annual Electronic Security Expo (ESX), scheduled for June 22-26 in Baltimore, MD, are nearly triple the registrations received during the same time frame for the 2008 event. Registration includes dozens of top executives from SDM 100 and SDM Top Systems Integrator companies such as:
* ADS Security
* ADT Security Services
* Alarm Detection Systems
* Alarmco, Inc.
* American Alarm & Communication
* ASG Security
* Bay Alarm
* Brink s Home Security
* CIA Security Systems
* Devcon Security Services
* Electronic Sales Company
* Interface Security Systems
* Monitronics
* Safeguard Security
* Stanley Security Solutions Inc
* Vector Security
* Washington Alarm“In times like these, companies really need to focus on the most essential and valuable learning opportunities as they select which events to attend,” said John Cerasuolo, president of ADS Security of Nashville, TN (23 on the SDM 100 list). “We know ESX offers us an opportunity to learn from other great installation and monitoring company executives and front line personnel—that’s the best information and advice we could ask for.”
For other companies, such as Phoenix-based Safeguard Security Systems (36 on the SDM 100), it’s the targeted nature of ESX that is the draw. “We’re looking for new concepts for systems integration work and always looking to improve the quality and efficiency of our central station operations,” said Safeguard CEO, John Jennings. “ESX has entire tracks of course work in these areas, and I love the focused expo, too. In this setting, suppliers not only share product information but also ideas on how they can help expand our business and increase profits.”
Forty-something co-President, Matt Westphal of Bay Alarm (10 on the SDM 100), is excited about the launch of NBFAA’s Young Security Professional (YSP) group at ESX. “The NBFAA’s YSP group offers a unique opportunity to rub elbows with other next generation leaders and to learn about their new ideas and challenges,” he said.
ESX Chair, George De Marco, attributes the strong response to ESX’s simple but unique niche: “Our pure focus is delivering best of class business and technical seminars for security professionals, including training sessions for sales, marketing, business management, customer service, central station, installation and field service personnel. Our goal is to enhance the ESX experience with comprehensive, high-quality training and fun, substantive networking events where peers can connect. It’s a compelling event for the whole team!”
