ESX is different from all other industry conferences and shows because it’s owned by the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) and Electronic Security Association (ESA). The revenue generated by the conference will remain within the industry to be used for programming, education, legislative activities and public relations to benefit your company.
March 16, 2012 – Kristen Simmons, managing partner at Lightswitch, will be the featured speaker during the Electronic Security Association (ESA) Industry Luncheon and Annual Meeting held during the Electronic Security Expo (ESX). The Luncheon and Annual Meeting, sponsored by Interlogix - A UTC Fire and Security Company, will be held on Thursday, June 28 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.
Simmons, who has held a number of Fortune 500 top marketing posts, is best known for her work as VP of Marketing for Mazda North America. There, she led the well-known "Zoom Zoom" advertising campaign, which spurred a 50% increase in Mazda's U.S. market share, leading Brandweek to name her one of ten "Marketers of the Next Generation." Simmons also founded LiveSmart Security, a boutique provider of home security services. She is currently a partner at Lightswitch, a marketing firm that helps companies design captivating customer experiences that turn customers into advocates.
"Kristen Simmons is one of the leading voices in marketing and the customer experience, and during her presentation, she'll show ESX attendees how they can better engage their customers, build a strong following of customer advocates, and, ultimately, create a sustainable business model," says George De Marco, ESX Chair.
"It promises to be an exciting and informative session, and I encourage all security integration and monitoring companies to attend to learn why the customer experience is so critical for businesses today."
The presentation will describe how consumers make purchase decisions, share information, and even control companies’ reputation. Simmons will explain concrete, actionable steps businesses can take to make their customer experience a competitive advantage that drives enduring and profitable growth.
"Over the next five to ten years, one factor will become ever more critical to the success of manufacturers, security integrators and monitoring companies alike: the customer experience," says Simmons. "New technology and integrated approaches have enabled a far more captivating experience for security customers than the traditional 'detect-and-respond' model. Leveraging these capabilities will be an enormous catalyst for customer loyalty, RMR growth, and bottom-line profitability.
"I'm both honored and excited to speak at the ESA luncheon. ESX is where the movers and shakers are—these are the people who can truly impact the customer experience that end-users in this industry have."
After the presentation, ESA will provide important updates on association activities, programs, plans and the installation of the association's leadership.
ESX 2012 will be held from June 25-29 in Nashville, TN at the Nashville Convention Center. Registration is now open at www.esxweb.com/register.
