With Record-Breaking Registration, Expanded Show Floor and Line Up of Education, ESX Is Ready to Commence
June 2, 2011 - The Electronic Security Expo (ESX) 2011 heads to Charlotte, N.C. next week (June 6-10) with a bigger show floor, expanded education program and record-breaking registration.
The fourth-annual event, owned by the industry’s leading associations – the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) and the Electronic Security Association (ESA) – has expanded its show floor thanks to increased demand and has seen advanced registration soar 100% over the 2010 event. Platinum sponsors of ESX 2011 include ESC Central, CentraLarm Group of Companies, Honeywell Security Group and The Systems Depot.
ESX begins on Monday, June 6 at the Westin Hotel with association meetings, the YSP Kick-Offception at Strike City and the CSAA Board Dinner.
On Tuesday, June 7 most events move to the Charlotte Convention Center including the ESX Conference and Education with its highly rated Exhibitor Offered Trainings, long-form Workshops and six distinct tracks:

The day continues with the Industry IceBreaker Luncheon, sponsored by Security Sales and Integration Magazine, which will feature Charlotte Fire Chief John Hannan, at noon. Tuesday evening will feature security tours of the NASCAR Hall of Fame and All-Star Host CPI Security’s central station, sponsored by Alarm.com, as well as the ESA Weinstock and Jackson Awards Ceremony and Reception.
On Wednesday, June 8 attendees will learn the winners of CSAA’s Central Station Awards at their annual breakfast, the ESX Conference Program continues and former NFL Coach and NASCAR owner Joe Gibbs speaks at the ESX Keynote Luncheon, sponsored by Security America RRG and CPI Security, along with media sponsors Security Dealer & Integrator Magazine and SecurityInfoWatch.com
After the Keynote, the show floor opens, featuring 170 exhibitors with a diverse product offering. The show floor will also feature the new ESXperience Stage, which will offer free trainings and industry updates to ESX attendees.
Wednesday evening will feature the ESX Big Bash sponsored by the ADT Authorized Dealer Program and Security America RRG, this year hosted on the show floor, followed by the ESX Crawl sponsored by Interlogix, where attendees will visit three local Charlotte bars to connect and enjoy the night.
Thursday morning will begin with the new Hair of the Dog Continental Breakfast, which is on the show floor and open to all registrants. The day will continue with ESA’s Chapter Challenge, sponsored by Videofied-RSI Video Technologies, meetings and browsing on the show floor, as well as association meetings and the ESA Industry Luncheon & Annual Meeting, which for the first time will feature the presentation of original research content.
On Thursday evening, the SDM 100 Gala will bring together the largest security integration and monitoring companies in the industry for a night of networking and celebration.
