Remember, this is just a slice of the many offerings you’ll be able to see and learn about at ESX. Exhibitors are ready to go deep on the business side of things with you, too, explaining not just how the product works, but how it works for your business. Next Level's Remote Management Services takes hosting further than ever before. Users not only gain access to recorded or live video, they get their entire security portfolio including video management, access control, analytics, alerts and more across multiple sites from anywhere. Remote video is efficiently routed through the Internet, making it faster and smoother. Video trans-coding further enhances the video viewing experience as the NLSS Gateway will automatically determine the remote client’s available bandwidth and screen-viewing size to send an optimized video view. The NLSS Gateway, the core of Next Level's Unified Security Platform, is a completely networked platform. With no hardware to install, the NLSS Gateway is a true browser-based application. Compliant with PSIA and ONVIF specifications, the NLSS Gateway works with any standards-based IP device including cameras, encoders, and access devices. Additionally, the NLSS Gateway supports auto-discovery and provisioning of most edge devices, making installation simpler and faster. Axis Communications. Network video has had great success in large camera-count installations because of its image quality, TCO and scalability benefits. However, IP has been perceived as cost prohibitive and complex for small systems like in convenient stores, banks and retail shops. Axis has solved this problem through a partner network of hosting and service providers that leverage the technology built into our IP cameras. Installation is extremely simple: Basically just click a button on the camera, register the camera’s serial number and you’re connected. Even if bandwidth is limited, local Network Attached Storage solutions can store high-quality video very inexpensively. For dealers, it brings great RMR opportunities. In short, hosted video brings all the benefits of IP to small systems. DMP. Integrators and central stations are increasingly turning to Managed Access Control (MAC) as a service they can provide to create an additional income stream. DMP Entré CS™ Access & Security Management System opens the door to this new RMR opportunity. It enables integrated systems management, bringing together security and access control in one package. Providers can offer a full range of services with no additional computers, software or related maintenance at their customers’ sites. As a side benefit, MAC services foster closer, long-term relationships that bind clients more tightly to their monitoring provider. Look for David Roberts, VP Technical Services, as the Entré CS expert at the DMP booth. Cernium is continuing to expand the capabilities of its hosted CheckVideo intelligent remote video monitoring solution. CheckVideo is a complete, end-to-end solution that transforms ordinary video cameras into intelligent alarm sensors for video verification. Advanced technology built into the product analyzes video in real time to detect the presence of people or cars and pushes a 10-second video alarm clip to the central station. Nik Gagvani, Chief Technology Officer & Vice President of Engineering, Cernium Corporation, an expert in computer vision technology, cloud computing, and integration of video surveillance systems with other sensors, will be looking to meet with you at the Cernium booth. CheckVideo can be added on to existing surveillance systems and is integrated with leading central station automation software, making it easy and cost-effective to implement and expand managed service offerings. No application software or additional hardware at the customer site or central station is required for it to work. Configuration, management, and updates of the system are entirely web-based, and video alarm clips are stored online. Dice Corp. ASP Hosting by DICE Corporation is offered as a solution ideal for startup central stations, proprietary operations looking to handle their own alarms or those looking to test out their operation and increase their RMR without having to invest in hardware and the various UL-required essentials. This also allows for an easier transition when ready for the next step of being a large central station with several accounts. This managed service hosting route also serves as a disaster recovery plan, as all accounts are stored and backed up nightly in the DICE headquarters. All that’s needed is an Internet connection, computer, phone connection and an operator to get into central station services via Dice’s hosted model. Diebold’s Authorized Dealer Program offers video and access control hosting and managed services that reduce total cost of ownership and capital expense for end users and generates recurring revenue for dealers. Over 700 video devices are supported, including a mix of IP cameras, analog cameras, encoders and DVRs. Options include full or partial managed access control services, customer access via web client and an extremely robust Video Management System. ClearPix Technologies is working on two opportunities currently that will store their H.264 camera video files at 40-50% less than standard. High-resolution images with dual streaming capabilities enable offloading of alarm notifications at reduced bandwidth so that loss prevention has the video they need when they want it.
