Inaugural Electronic Security Expo Blasts Past 100 Exhibitor Mark

March 25, 2008 – On its way to an estimated 150 exhibiting companies in its first year of operation, the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) accepted a contract for exhibit space from its 100th customer today. Owned, sponsored and designed by the industry’s largest and longest established trade associations, the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association and Central Station Alarm Association, ESX is the premier training event for electronic security integration and monitoring companies and projects 3,500 total attendees. The expo will be held on June 25-27, 2008 in Nashville, Tenn.

The ESX exhibitor list reads like a who’s who of the electronic security industry, with leading manufacturers, distributors and service providers such as Honeywell, GE, ADI, Bosch, HID, DSC, Bold Technologies, Rapid Response, Linear, CMS, ADT, Brinks, DMP, NAPCO, System Sensor, Tri-Ed, ScanSource, Worthington and Wynit. Because of ESX’s pure focus on dealer/integrator company attendance, exhibitors can focus their displays, messaging and at-show conversations on how their products and services help dealers maximize revenues, profits and company value. All other national events in the electronic security industry include or are dominated by corporate end-user attendance.

“We’re excited about the market acceptance of the ESX concept and niche,” said ESX Expo Chairman, George De Marco. “Our volunteer leaders have been working hard to put together an excellent program for dealers/integrators, including a fantastic educational experience and a show floor packed with great supplier companies. We appreciate the 100 customers that have chosen to exhibit to date, showcasing their dedication to the dealer channel and the associations that help it thrive. It’s great to see these positive results.”
