Speros Venios is Vice President of Channel Sales at Interlogix, where he is responsible for the integration of security and smart home devices in the residential and commercial segments through the Distribution, MSO and OEM channels.

Speros brings nearly 20 years of sales experience, having previously held various positions in distribution management, national accounts and the connected home segment.

Speros has a BS in Management Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and resides outside of Boston, MA.

Michael Barnes is the founding Partner of Barnes Associates an advisory and consulting firm that specializes in providing financing and acquisition related services to the security alarm industry. Since founding Barnes Associates, Mr. Barnes has been involved in more than 260 security alarm acquisitions and financings with an aggregate transaction value in excess of $27 billion. This includes having recently advised Apollo Global Management on their acquisition of both Protection One and ADT.

Mr. Barnes has served on the board of directors of the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (now ESA) and the Security Industry Association. He also lectures at numerous events within the security alarm industry on matters relating to acquisitions, the availability of capital and the operating dynamics and performance of alarm companies. Mr. Barnes was the 13th person to be inducted into the Security Alarm Industry Hall of Fame, an honor he received in 2004. Barnes Associates also co-sponsors the annual Barnes-Buchanan conference.
