George De Marco
George De Marco founded The Greater Alarm Company, Inc. in 1981. As CEO and President, George's entrepreneurial spirit and industry involvement was instrumental in growing Greater Alarm into one of the largest and most respected electronic security companies. Greater Alarm received nationwide recognition as one of the top twenty-five largest electronic security firms in the U.S. by Security Distributing & Marketing (SDM) magazine and received SDM's most prestigious award, Dealer of the Year. In addition, Greater Alarm was named one of the INC. 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America for three consecutive years and was recognized as one of the top twenty largest custom electronics integrators in the U.S. by CE Pro magazine. George received a lifetime achievement award in 2009 from the California Alarm Association (CAA) for his volunteer services to the electronic security industry.
George is a published author of security industry related articles for Security Dealer, Security Systems News, Security Distributing & Marketing and Security Sales & Integration magazines. He has also spoken at industry events such as the International Security Conference (ISC), Electronic Security Expo (ESX), Electronic Security Association (ESA), CAA, Custom Electronics Association's (CEA) TechHome Mediterraneo Summit (Southern Europe) and Custom Electronics Pro (CE Pro 100 Integrators Summit) as keynote, moderator, presenter and panelist. George was appointed by the Governor of California as a board member for the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).
George has served with a number of charitable organizations such as Kids Cancer Connection, Stop Child Trafficking Now and Global Triton.
Currently, George is a managing partner at DeCo Ventures, a firm which helps companies achieve operational and market excellence by identifying and implementing essential and sustainable business practices necessary for dynamic corporate growth. DeCo's services include strategic and tactical planning, executive management, marketing/branding strategies, business/sales development, organizational development, financial analysis and management, and merger and acquisition guidance and execution.
John Lombardi
John began his career in security in 1968. He is one of the founding members of the Mid-Hudson Alarm Association and a past President of the New York Burglar and Fire Alarm Association. John is a past member of the NFPA Technical Committee 730 - Premise Security Code and 731 – Alarm Maintenance and Installation Standard. He currently serves as Second Vice President for the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) and co-chairs the Education Committee. John is Nicet Level 4 certified in fire alarm systems.
Joe Miskulin
Joe Miskulin has been the manager of the State Farm Central Station for the past 17 years and active with CSAA for the past 10 years, serving as Co-chair of the Education Committee. He also serves on the CSAA Board of Directors as the Proprietary Council representative.
Teresa Gonzalez
Teresa Gonzalez, President, United Central Control, Inc. has 27 years of experience in central station operations, including 19 years managing personnel, business operations and technical advancements in the central station. Teresa is active in the security industry serving as the Co-chair of the CSAA Education Committee, is a member of AICC and the standards committee.
Mark Grossman
After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mark began a career in the electronic security industry and has spent over 20 years in the installation and service side of the business. Mark began his career as an installation technician with ADT Security and has progressed through the operations ranks by contributing in leadership roles for small, medium, and large electronic security integrators. Currently, Mark is the Vice President of Branch Operations for ASG Security and is responsible for the company's branch level performance by providing overall strategic direction, guidance, corporate support, and resources to the operational activities of the organization with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability.
Trevor Block
Trevor Block has 22 years experience in the industry -- 9 in sales and 13 in operations. Block began working in the industry as a residential sales rep. and advanced through various operational roles with ADT and Guardian, such as Regional Ops Director, Service Manager, General Manager and VP of Field Operations. Currently, he serves as Vice President of Field Operations for Guardian Protection Services in Warrendale, PA and is responsible for the company's operational resources and the productivity of branch personnel.
Gerrit Brusse
Gerrit Brusse joined U.S.A. in January of 2011 and is currently leading the Sales Division in Louisiana. Gerrit joined the industry in 2008, serving many roles with ADS Security, based out of Nashville. Prior to joining ADS, Gerrit served in operator and multi-unit capacities for a big-box consumer electronics retailer, leading a region of 14 locations and over 800 employees. Gerrit graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Gerrit is an active member of ESA, currently serving as chair of the Sales and Marketing Professionals Group (SMP), as well as on the Young Security Professionals Council. He currently resides in New Orleans with his wife Shanon.
Lisa Matthews
Lisa Matthews, CTS CSMA is the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Audio Video Interiors & Safety Technologies, Middleburg Heights, Ohio. She is an InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist and CEDIA Registered Outreach Instructor and conducts educational courses for Industry Partners. Safety Technologies received two Best Practices Awards from ESA in 2011 and was named Installer of the Year in the Sammys Awards. Additionally, Audio Video Interiors was recognized at the CE Pro 100 Summit for their innovative social media programs. Lisa has an extensive background in sales, marketing, technologies and AV design and enjoys serving as Vice Chair of ESA's Sales & Marketing Professionals Group and as a Member of the AIA/ASID Design Awards Committee. She lives in Medina with her husband and daughters.
